L-Charge today announced that its solutions have delivered more than 10 GWh of energy to fleets and completed over 250,000 charging sessions. That is the equivalent of roughly 30 million EV miles driven, or enough energy to cover nearly a million average U.S. daily commutes.
The milestone reflects accelerating demand for high-power charging that fleets can deploy rapidly. Access to charging infrastructure remains the biggest barrier to electrification, and many fleets lack available power to install the chargers they need. Utility site upgrades can take years and carry significant cost while site constraints further slow or block traditional installs. Charging from the grid can also bring expensive demand charges, and infrastructure delays can put incentives such as HVIP vouchers at risk.
L-Charge addresses these challenges with intelligent off-grid EV charging and microgrid solutions that deliver DC fast charging fleets can deploy quickly and cost-effectively, so electrification does not have to wait on the grid. The platform goes beyond a basic generator setup with the L-Charge Core intelligent power hub using AI-based intelligence to manage power and fuel efficiency. The power hub coordinates generators, battery energy storage, and charging stations for optimized power use, and can reduce fuel costs by up to 50%. Parallel architecture adds built-in resiliency, so chargers keep working even if one generator is down for service or maintenance.
Systems can be up and running in a matter of weeks, with no trenching or construction. Fleets can charge on their own sites, deploy at new locations, and expand as demand grows, with no upfront capital investment and more predictable operating costs.
